it's past midnight and i was always told that nothing good happens after midnight, but here goes:
so it's SUPER late right now and I was wandering on yahoo and found a really neat story about a student in new hampshire that signed up to donate his bone marrow and ended up being a match for 2 people. they said that was like a 1 in 400 million chance. it was also saying that out of 200 people that volunteer to donate only 1 will match. it is unlikely that my blood tissue will match anyone else, but then i got to thinking, what if it does? that would be an amazing thing to be a part of. on the news report it referred me to this website.

all you have to do is fill out some information and then they send you a swab kit to your house for you to complete and mail back to them. simple. just thought i would share this.

Nothing good happens after midnight only applies to teenagers...I think mom's are exempt and I think this is a great idea. Before my nephew died they were looking for a bone marrow donor but to no avail were not successful.
