what? you haven't had your kids school pictures taken yet???? we have, here is how they turned out:
i started doing a mini preschool for oscar and livy. we do it everyday after the big kids go to school. it only lasts for 20 minutes, but it is the perfect amount for their age. we do fun worksheets to practice writing our letters, we are learning to sign the alphabet, we are learning about the seasons, the days of the week, colors and shapes. so far, things are going really well, but we can't go over 20 minutes because everyone gets a little crabby. we even have a fun preschool song we sing at the beginning and the end. i am enjoying it, but i am well aware that i am NOT a homeschooling mom. that's ok, right? i love being with my kids and teaching them, but i have to say how grateful i am for our schools. thank you shadow hills, thank you mrs. holland, and thank you mrs. erb.

Is that okay??? Do you even need to ask? Of course it's okay. There is no way that I could ever home school my kids. Sometimes our kids need a break from us too.
Elliot and I have a preschool too. Our lesson plans consist of us both sitting in front of the computer for 20 minutes together playing starfall.com. I long for the day that I can walk away and Elli will be self sufficient.
Also we play rhyme-time while we drive to the mall.
