 thank you again grandma joan for the birthday sign, we love putting it up for everyone's special day

 oscar asked me to make him a birthday crown. he told me to write: "my name is oscar the grouchy. i am 4 today!" he was so excited for me to make it, then he found a hat that matched what daddy was wearing and he wanted to wear both of them. they didn't fit and i told him he had to choose. he wouldn't choose so i chose this one so i could get a picture of him wearing it. this is what came of that.

 daddy took the day off to spend it with oscar on his birthday. he took him to the zoo. these boys are 2 peas in a pod, they both LOVE the zoo. they had a really great time.

 then daddy took him to flatbread community oven. they let the kids decorate their own pizza.

 then daddy took him to powels candy shop and then to redbox to pick out a movie for later. what a fun day, just dad and me.

for dinner oscar wanted to go somewhere to play. he picked carl's junior. they played for an hour or so and then we came home for popcorn and a movie. 

oscar, you are my most extreme child.

you scream the most, but you hug the most too.

you get the most angry, but you love the most too.

you don't listen the most, but sometimes you do EXACTLY what i would want you to do even when you're not told to.

you make the most messes, but you are the first to help to clean up.

you frown the most, but you smile the most too.

it seems as though everything you do you give it all you got. i love that about you buddy. you look exactly like your daddy and act like your uncle toby (heaven helps us). i will say to you exactly what my parents said to uncle toby at every birthday. "i can't believe you're still alive. congrats"

i love you so much. this family would not be the same without you.
