Women's fitness run!!!!!!

grandma johnson came to boise to do the women's fitness run and she invited me and Ali to do it with her. Ali has never ran that far before so we knew it would be a challenge, but she did awesome. We all ran the first mile together and power-walked the second because some of it was up hill. Daddy, Charlie, Oscar and Livy were up at Cresent Rim cheering us on (that was fun). We tried to run the last mile, but Ali got really tired so we would go back and forth between walking and running. We finished the 3.1 mile race in 44 minutes and 6 seconds. Right as we crossed the finish line they shouted out Ali's name across the loud speaker. We had those chips that say who you are. It was great to hear her name. I am so proud of Ali and that she finished the race. Thanks for inviting us to come with you grandma, we had lots of fun.

we forgot to get one of just us at the race so we did it later at our house.

Next week is grandma johnson's birthday so we thought we would celebrate it while she was here. We got her a fall decoration for her front door and the kids got to paint her a birdhouse. They had lots of fun painting them for her, especially the babies. Each of them did it all on their own, carefully picking the colors they wanted. They turned out really cute. So glad we got to see you grandma and give you your present while you were here.
