trip to twin falls

last weekend we took a trip to twin falls to visit the temple, grandma & papa, uncle chris & aunt carisa and their little guy, james.

the next day we went to the park to play. what a pretty girl i have.

oscar was having lots of fun.

later in the day we went waterskiing. charlie is getting really good at knee boarding. he is doing it for less and less every time. usually he will get a couple dollars out of the deal, but this time uncle chris promised him a dollar and a candy. he gladly did it for that. he won't admit it but he loves it and has so much fun doing it.

i even got a turn this time. it was my first time since last year and i didn't even fall. this is our sign for "i'm ok". we learned it in scuba diving a long time ago.

here is carisa. she was learning how to drop one ski and ski on just one. she did great.......

uncle and chris and charlie. they were buddies this weekend.

this is pretty much what ali did the whole time. she doesn't like to go behind the boat and i think sometimes she is afraid to go in the boat because everyone will try to get her to do something. this is safe for her. daddy and maggie hung out with her on shore.

daddy participated when charlie was trying to throw this big rock in the water and couldn't lift it.

and as always, charlie wants to ride on the motorcycle. apparently it was too loud for him.

love this kids smile. he is having soooo much fun. he could be on that thing for hours.

he went over a bump and made a funny face, i think it scared him.

all in all we had a great weekend. thanks grandma joan and papa johnson for a fun time. it was great to see uncle chris, aunt carisa and james too. we miss you guys already.
