our second day was spent at great grandma willis' house. the kids loved her tree swing. charlie looks so mean in this picture, but they were just playing.
oscar was mad that he had to wait his turn.
this is the heart of bryce canyon. we went a little hike; me, ryan, ali, charlie, uncle toby and ryan's dad.
here is grandpa with charlie. we had to keep charlie close because he tends to not watch where he is going and in this area that could mean your life........or at least a bruise and maybe a broken bone.
ali found a hiding place.
there were these random trees growing at the bottom

here is a close-up of one of the trees. these guys were HUGE!

what a funny looking tree

out tour guide for most of the trip. aka - papa, dad, gpa, "chops". he was great and he never once told us to stop taking pictures and start walking, he was very patient with all of us.

toby is a monkey

and apparently so is ryan

ali and charlie were glued to their uncle toby. wherever he went, they were right there.

he can't resist a good tree climb

do you see ali waving to us, she ran ahead of us with toby. it is so steep that they made this path that goes back and forth a hundred times, it made you dizzy if you weren't careful. look how orange everything is.
so beautiful
this was another part of bryce canyon.
toby took ali & charlie were up at another look-out point.
this is them too
what a beautiful place to be.
love you charlie!!!!!
so cute!

so cute too!!!!

this is their main touristy area. there is a BIG gift shop and a place to develop your pictures and places to sign up for guided tours.
my poor family in jail

what a day, the kids slept really well that night. we had such a fun time in bryce canyon.
