this is funny. ali has thick hair and has a hard time with drying it. it works really great, i might want one for my birthday.
for the past couple of years the kids have requested going ice skating on their birthday. ali did not disappoint. we decided to leave the rest of the kids with my sister, it was too cold for such little bodies.
we had such a fun time ice skating. thank you aunt terri for your help.
every year of ali's life it has snowed......except this year. we usually go sledding or just play outside in the snow for her birthday and then we make her a snow cake with food coloring and stick candles. it has been our tradition forever. this is the first year that we couldn't do that. her brown dad (craig) brought her over some homemade snow. it wasn't big enough to make a cake out of, but we stuck in fake candles and sang to her. it was fun.

ali is the best!!!!!! i am so lucky to have her in our house. she is constantly making pictures and crafts for me. she loves to help me with maggie and play "mommy". she is happy, loving, kind, sweet-spirited, and wonderful. happy birthday to my AMAZING 9 year old! i love you ali!

Josh thinks she looks good but is kinda goofy with the glasses on, but he still agrees she has some good looks. He commented the first thing he would do if this girl belonged to him would be to lay her down in his bed and then lay down next to her and remove her glasses before he started kissing her! When we downloaded this picture I resized it and displayed her life size and she appeared to be directly in front of us. Josh looked at me with a big grin and said, "tell me if it looks like I am really kissing her!" then he leaned close and began kissing her on the mouth and lips. I was cracking up because it looked like he really was kissing her! He said he is putting his favorite shots of her on display life size in in bedroom in his large digital picture displays. He is going to name her is goofy looking cuties LOL! He did tell me it is going to be embarrassing but kinda cool when he gets ready for his shower because it will seem like she is looking right at him LOL!
