christmas with the shaffers

we celebrated christmas eve with my family. here is our big family picture

 it was so great to have all my siblings together again.

maggie kept trying to attack macy. she was terrified of her.

 we made my mom a gratitude book. it had pictures and letter from us about how much we love her. she had no idea what she was getting herself into.

 there we go.

 we were so mean and we made her read it. it was a very emotional time for all of us. we don't all get together that often anymore but every other christmas. in the book we talked about how much we love and miss our past, but how excited we are about my mom's future (her and alvin). it turned out great.

 they apparently enjoyed the chocolate

 everyone playing after all the presents were open. ali and her cousin madison.

 our girls are only a few months apart

 papa spending time with the little kids

we had such a wonderful christmas with the shaffer family. let's do it again, say in 2 years.
