First day of the first grade

Here it is, the first day of school post. Unlike everyone else I waited until the 2nd week of school to finally get around to doing it. Ali was so excited to go to school ALL day and to have lunch at school. She also was unaware that she got more than one recess, that was a highlight of the day.

Here is her cute new outfit grandma johnson in Twin Falls bought her.

We are starting the tradition of holding up what grade you are going to be in.

Here is Ali's class. We walked her to school that day, but was later informed that it would no longer be necessary that we go with her. What a little stinker, growing up so fast and being so independent.

This is Ali's friend Isabelle. They walk to school together with Isabelle's 6th grade brother.

And that's it. She was gone, just like that. She had a wonderful first week of school. She loves her teacher and loves school.
